IDB mitigation and adaptation units work together with REGATTA in the development and technical assistance of the communities of practice.

UNEP Risoe Centre supports REGATTA on developing technical reports relevant for the region and giving technical support to Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The Institute collaborates with REGATTA from November 2011 to promote the transition to a low-carbon development in Latin America and the Caribbean by providing expertise in science and technology to facilitate the use of low-carbon technologies, reducing GHG emissions and mitigation of climate change, as well as moderating Photovoltaic Solar Energy Community of Practice.

The Centre supports the REGATTA project in strengthening capacities on adaptation issues in Latin America and the Caribbean countries, by: (i) developing assessments of vulnerability and impact of agriculture, grazing and water resources in the Andes of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru at the regional level, and (ii) disseminating the evaluation methodology and its deliverables. It is also moderator of the Andes Community of Practice.

This three institutions consortium supports REGATTA in building capacities on adaptation issues Latin America and the Caribbean countries, by: (i) contributing to the social aspects of the asessment of vulnerability and impact on agriculture, livestock and water resources at the subregional scale of Gran Chaco (Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay) and (ii) locally, in the Paraguayan Chaco with the development of a social and capability for adaptation analysis. In addition, the consortium is the moderator of the Southern Cone and Gran Chaco Community of Practice.

Latin America Energy Organization was created within the context of the international energy crisis of the early seventies, whose scope and impact was analyzed by the Latin America and the Caribbean countries, which lacked energy policies and facing the need to adequately address this crisis began a intense political mobilization process that came to an end on November 2, 1973 with the signing of the Lima Agreement, the constituent instrument of the Organization, ratified by 27 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The INSP is one of the largest public health institutions in the developing world and is the foremost institution in teaching, research and service to improve public health in Mexico and Latin America. The Institute collaborates with REGATTA in moderating Health and Climate Change Community of Practice since April, 2014.

PAHO is the specialized health agency of the Inter-American System and serves as the Regional Office for the Americas of the World Health Organization (WHO). Together with WHO, PAHO is a member of the United Nations system. The Organization supports INSP in suggesting and elaborating content for Health and Climate Change Community of Practice.

Practical Action is REGATTA´s knowledge centre for Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA) in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its overall objective is to promote EbA through an online Community of Practice. At the same time, it seeks to build capacities, exchange lessons learnt and promote successful EbA approaches in national planning processes, in order to create a wider climate change adaptation strategy in the region.

IICA is the institution of the Inter-American System that provides technical cooperation, innovation and specialized knowledge to contribute to the competitive and sustainable development of agriculture in the Americas and to improve the lives of rural dwellers in the member countries. Its collaboration with REGATTA lies in moderating an online Community of Practice on adaptation of agriculture sector to climate change in Mesoamerica.

CaribSave collaborates with REGATTA since 2013, in conducting a climate change vulnerability, impact and adaptation analysis in the Caribbean region.
